The Lady and Sons Best-Ever Bloody Mary

Ingredients

Best-Ever Bloody Mary

  • 2 ounces pepper-infused vodka (recipe follows)
  • 5 ounces Bloody Mary mix (recipe follows)
  • Old Bay Seasoning, for garnish
  • lemon wedge, optional, for garnish
  • Lime wedge, optional, for garnish
  • olive, optional, for garnish
  • sliced cucumber, optional, for garnish
  • baby bell pepper, optional, for garnish
  • pickled okra, optional, for garnish
  • cooked bacon, optional, for garnish
  • celery, optional, for garnish

Pepper-Infused Vodka

  • 1 fresh jalapeño, sliced with the seeds removed
  • ⅓ bottle peppers with vinegar
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 (25-ounce) bottle vodka

Bloody Mary Mix

  • 2 quarts tomato juice
  • ½ cup horseradish
  • 2½ tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • ¼ cup Black pepper
  • 1⅓ cup lemon juice
  • ⅔ cup Hot sauce
  • 2½ tablespoons celery seed
  • 2 cups Worcestershire

Directions

Best-Ever Bloody Mary

In a cocktail shaker, mix 2 ounces of the pepper-infused vodka and the Bloody Mary mix.

Rim a pint glass with Old Bay seasoning, add ice, and pour the Bloody Mary into the glass.

Garnish with your choice of fixin’s.

Pepper-Infused Vodka

Add all ingredients to a plastic or glass container, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 days. Then, strain it.

Makes a fifth of vodka.

Bloody Mary Mix

Mix all ingredients together and allow to sit for at least 6 hours.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

Makes 3 quarts.
