Hamburger Biscuit Casserole

Servings: 8 to 10


  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 jar pasta sauce
  • 1 can cut green beans, drained
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups biscuit mix


Preheat oven to 450˚F.

Brown ground beef and small onion in 1 tablespoon olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the pasta sauce, sugar, and green beans. Pour into greased baking dish or an 8″ square pan.

Prepare drop biscuit dough and drop biscuit batter on top of meat mixture.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until biscuits are brown and done.
