Cranberry-Pomegranate Holiday Punch

Cook time: 10 to 12 minutes + sit overnight for best results

Servings: makes 12 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 (33.8-ounce) bottle pomegranate juice
  • 1⁄2 cup chopped crystallized ginger
  • 1 (64-ounce) bottle cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 navel orange, thinly sliced
  • fresh sprigs of rosemary, for garnish
  • cinnamon sticks, for garnish
  • fresh cranberries, for garnish

Directions

In a medium saucepan, heat pomegranate juice and ginger over medium-high heat until liquid is reduced by half, 10 to 12 minutes. Add cranberry juice and brown sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add orange slices. Refrigerate overnight. Serve warm or cold. Garnish with rosemary, cinnamon sticks, and cranberries, if desired.
