Ingredients
- 1½ ounce gin
- ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
- ¾ ounce simple syrup
- 3 to 4 ounces Champagne or sparkling wine
- 1 lemon peel, for garnish
Directions
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup, and shake vigorously until chilled. Strain into a champagne flute, top with champagne, and garnish with lemon peel.
