Ingredients

Apple Crisp

  • 4 cups peeled & cored apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water

Topping

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 stick butter, softened

Directions

Apple Crisp

Place apples, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat until apples are soft but not broken down.

Pour apples into an 8×8 pan and top with crumble topping.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350˚F.

Topping

Combine all ingredients in a bowl to make a crumble topping.
