Air Fryer Creamy Roasted Cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 vidalia onion, finely chopped
  • one-half 8-ounce package cream cheese
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cauliflower steak, 1 inch thick
  • Oil, for spraying
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley

Directions

To make creamy cheese sauce, in a medium skillet, melt butter in olive oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onion and sauté, stirring occasionally, for 8 minutes, or until onions are soft. Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Set aside and keep warm.

Spray cauliflower steak with oil, and sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper, and place in air fryer basket. Set temperature to 375 degrees, and air fry for 5 minutes. Turn cauliflower steak, spray with oil, and air fry for 3 minutes more. Remove cauliflower steak to a platter, pour cheese sauce on top, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm.
