The Deviled Egg Went Down to Georgia

By

Deviled eggs are a way of life down South. Holidays, family reunions, and cookouts… you’ll most likely find them as an appetizer or a side dish. They go with nearly everything from ham and turkey to hamburgers and hotdogs, so it’s no wonder they’re eaten so often down here.

Paula loves deviled eggs so much, that she has played with the recipes to find new, wonderful ways of eating them. Here are some of her delicious deviled egg recipes:

Traditional Southern Deviled Eggs – We can’t talk deviled eggs without talking about the original! Paula’s Traditional Southern Deviled Eggs recipe is a classic, featuring sweet pickle relish, that guests just can’t get enough of.

BLT Deviled Eggs – One of Paula’s favorite sandwiches is a BLT, so it’s no wonder she turned it into a deviled egg! Crumbled bacon, cherry tomatoes, and parsley make these deviled eggs taste like the real deal.

Southwestern Deviled Eggs – Georgia may be in the southeast, but these Southwestern Deviled Eggs are welcome here any time! Who would have thought to put salsa in deviled eggs? Paula, that’s who!

Curry Pecan Deviled Eggs – Paula takes inspiration from all over when she’s in the kitchen, and that’s what made her think to put flavorful curry powder in her deviled eggs. But being the Georgia girl she is, she found the perfect finishing touch with Georgia pecans.
