The Lady’s Cheesy Mac 2.0


Paula has updated her classic recipe over the years!

  • Prep time: 15 minutes
  • Cook time: 30 - 45 minutes


  • 4 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese, or cheese of your choosing
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni,
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup evaporated milk


Preheat oven to 350 °F.

Cook the macaroni according to the directions on the package. Place in a large bowl and, while still hot, and add the cheese. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and add to the macaroni mixture. Pour macaroni mixture into a casserole dish and bake for 30 to 45 minutes. Top with additional cheese if desired.

Paula’s Tip: Use whatever cheeses you love, and don’t be afraid to mix them!
