Kringle Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 1 1/2-pound kringle
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 8 eggs
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 300°F. Grease a 13—9-inch baking pan with butter and scatter kringle cubes over bottom of pan. In a saucepan, bring bourbon to a simmer; remove from heat. Stir in raisins; let steep for 10 minutes. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar. Whisk in remaining ingredients, including the raisins and bourbon. Pour mixture over kringle in pan. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour.
Bake the pudding, uncovered, about 1 hour or until just set. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
