Servings: 6 to 8
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup sugar
- ⅓ cup sifted cornstarch
- 4 cups half and half
- 2 ounces chocolate
- 1 vanilla bean
- chocolate sandwich cookies
- candy gravestones and bones, or spooky candies of your choice
Directions
Sift cocoa powder, salt, sugar, and cornstarch into the cold half and half; whisking well to homogenize. Begin to heat while stirring constantly to 180°F. Add chocolate and vanilla bean and cook, stirring, for 1 full minute. Pass through a strainer and let cool slightly, before pressing saran wrap over the top to prevent a film from forming on the pudding. Refrigerate until ready to assemble.
Meanwhile, add the chocolate sandwich cookies to a food processor, pulsing until the cookies resemble dirt.
In individual serving cups, layer pudding, cookie crumble, pudding, and cookie crumble. Top each cup with gravestones, bones, or whatever spooky candies you choose to set your graveyard scene.
