Cranberry Jalapeño Relish

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (16 oz) bag frozen cranberries
  • 2 chopped jalapeños
  • 1 zested lime


Combine half the sugar and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the jalapeños and let simmer, then add remaining sugar. Add the cranberries and return to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.

Use a potato masher to break down cranberries. Remove the pan from heat, add lime zest and let the sauce cool.
