Some Kinda Good Cold Georgia Blue Crab Dip

Servings: 8 to 10


  • 1 (8-ounce) container whipped cream cheese
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sharp Cheddar, freshly grated
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 2-3 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • a few dashes hot sauce, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
  • salt, to taste
  • Black pepper , to taste
  • 2 cups fresh picked blue crabmeat (from about 9 large crabs)
  • crackers, for serving


In a bowl, stir together all ingredients except the crab and the crackers until well combined. Gently fold in the crab meat. Garnish with additional Old Bay. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until cold. Serve with crackers.
