Meet Max

By

Every mama dreams of a growing family. It’s what keeps life exciting. I’ve been blessed with five grandchildren, but the newest addition to our family happens to be of the furry variety.

My baby, Max, is a Double Doodle—a mix between a Goldendoodle and a Labradoodle. Max is our resident mischief-maker, but that’s only natural since he’s just a year old. Boy, does he like to pick on Gus (my two-year-old Goldendoodle), though! If y’all could only see the two of them together! But troublemaker or not, he’s just about as lovable as any creature you could ever find.

Since Max is always so loving to me, I knew he deserved something special, so I headed straight to the kitchen with my friends from Hugs Pet Products. He must have thought what we came up with was pretty darn good because he gobbled it right up, so naturally, we had to share it with y’all.

My Paula Deen’s Pet Collection from Hugs offers three premium flavors, Beef & Rice, Chicken & Rice, and Lamb & Rice (Max can’t get enough of the Beef & Rice!). Your four-legged friends will love that my new line of pet food tastes so good, and you’ll love that it’s good for them. This kibble is calorie-controlled and made with the healthiest ingredients, including probiotics, to keep their digestive and immune systems in tip-top shape.

Paula Deen’s Pet Collection from Hugs is available now at my General Store, so pamper those pups with a gourmet meal today!

Paula Deen - As a young girl growing up in Albany, Georgia, Paula Deen never dreamed she would become an American icon. As a young mother, Paula was living the American dream — married to her high school sweetheart and raising two adorable boys — when tragedy struck. Her parents died, her marriage failed and she began a prolonged battle with agoraphobia. With her boys in their teens and her family near homelessness, Paula took her last $200, reached deep inside her soul and started The Bag Lady, a home-based catering company that marked the start of Deen's professional cooking career. With sons Jamie and Bobby delivering lunch-and-love-in-a-bag, beginning in June 1989, Paula turned her life around by sharing what she knew best, traditional Southern cooking.
