We love these bars, Paula. We always layer our chips, pecans and coconut and pour the Eagle Brand Milk on top. Reunions and picnic favorite. Thanks for sharing it. Helen

I recommend doubling up on the graham cracker crumbs for a thicker more delectable (and even sturdier) bar. This is one of my favorites!!!

I've been making this for years. One of my great uncles gave me this recipe and it's soooo good.

This is great as written, but as my pantry supply changes, so does my recipe. I use a variety of nuts and chips, mixing and matching macadamias, walnuts, and pecans with milk chocolate, semisweet chocolate, vanilla, butterscotch, peanut butter and cinnamon chips. Sometimes I use all of them at once! Decadent!

I made these bars twice but realized that i didnt like the butterscotch as much so the 2nd time I used half a cup of butterscotch instead of 1 cup 1 cups of chocolate morsels(mini morsels) and 1 cup of toffee bits. and 1 cup instead of 1 half cup of chopped pecans. after i measured everything i mixed it really well in a seperate bowl and poured over graham cracker and spread. OMG! DELICIOUS.
