Recipe Courtesy of Paula DeenServings: 4 servings
Cook Time: 12 min
Difficulty: Easy
Butter cooking spray
4 (6 to 8-ounce) tilapia fillets
1 teaspoon Paula Deen Silly Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 lime, finely grated zest and juice
2 tablespoons butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a large cast iron pan with a nonstick butter spray.
Rinse fish and pat dry; place on the prepared baking sheet. Season each fillet with Silly Salt, cracked pepper, lime zest and lime juice. Add fish to the pan. Place a pat of butter on each fillet and cook in the oven for 8 to 12 minutes.
Excellent! I used lemon since I didn't have any lime and also preheated in my skillet for a minute on each side before placing in oven. Not fishy at all. Paired nicely with garlic rice.

Making it tonight for the second time. I omit the salt and the first time changed the lime for lemon. Turned out real nice and tasteful. Tonight using lime to see how different it is. Also if you preheat your cast iron and pan fry for about two minutes per side it turns out real good. I also sprinkle a small amount of Italian seasoning for added flavor.

I like Debbie would like to know what silly salt is, also at this time I do not have a lime, nor lime juice, so I'm using lemon juice i'll let you know how it turned out. from the comments the lime seems to be the big favor. lj

I made this for dinner last night. My husband who usually thinks fried fish is the only way to go gave it a thumbs up and so did the kids. I'm definitely making it again. So easy and so delicious. The lime gives it a delicious twist. Thanks Paula!

I just made this for my husband that hates all fish and he actually liked it. Because of his dislike for fish the fact that he would eat this again is a big deal.
