Deep Fried Crabs Recipe by Paula Deen

  • oil, for frying
  • 4 soft-shell crabs
  • 2 cup white cornmeal
  • 1 salt
  • black pepper, freshly ground


Preheat frying oil to 350°.


Parboil crabs for 10 minutes. Roll in cornmeal mixed with salt and pepper.


Fry until golden brown for about 2 to 4 minutes.
