I hate deviled eggs with relish in them....yucky. Try adding a little Old Bay seasoning to your eggs and sprinkle a little on top instead of paprika. Now that is YUMMY!

This is how we've made deviled eggs for years (without the gherkin garnish) and no other recipe compares. The combination of mustard & sweet pickle relish with the standard salt, pepper, mayo & egg yolks is terrific. We've happily eaten these alone for dinner (using at least a dozen eggs). Even the kids can eat a whole plateful of them in one sitting. Nobody in our household can wait for for them to cool & everyone starts eating them as the whites are being filled, so it takes quite some time for them to start making it to the plate wink If any make it to the fridge, they're gone in less than 24 hours. Really - this recipe is that good!

This is exactly the way I have always made my deviled eggs and never have complaints from anyone. The sweet pickle relish really adds to the taste of one of my favorite sides. So paula, we're two peas in a pod on this one. Thanks Kay.

I just wanted to tell you Paula that I watch your cooking show as much as I can. I have tried many of your recipes and all of my family and friends just love all your dishes. I hope to some day be able to come to your restaurant and be able to actually try some of your delicious dishes. I am presently unemployed and I take care of my 87 year old dad and and taking an online medical transcription editor course to become a certified MTE. Watching you when I can is so delightful and I just adore you and your family and how close yall are. I am blessed that I too have family and we are close. I had my own catering/bakery business in my home for about 35 years. Then went through a divorce and I went back to work with the school system here and worked for 16 years with them as a Teacher Assistant with pre K and K's, which I enjoyed and loved. My job was cut due to funding and since then have had a partial knee replacement that did not work so had to have the fourth and final surgery on that same right knee which was a total titanium knee replacement. I am very blessed as I am doing very well now but only have about 85% use of knee but so thankful and not in the pain any longer. God bless you and your family and may He continue to bless you with this gift of cooking! I love to cook and enjoy sharing all I cook with family and friends and especially when they are recipes from your kitchen to mine!!!! grin
