Am I the only on

Am I the only one who finds the taste of powdered sugar comparable to that of laundry detergent? I tried this recipe hoping the cream cheese would drown out the taste I don't like in confectioners sugar. I was disappointed. Still rating this recipe high because it had a nice consistency and my disappointment is a *personal* distaste for confectioners sugar. I used Dominos. Maybe I should try a different brand.
