Comments:
i saw this book at bjs and saw this recipe in it. my husband is a bid fan of pound cakes and i wanted to tried this one. rushed home and got the recipe. i baked it today. its a good recipe. a little too sweet but moist considering it baked for 1 1/2 hours in a silicone (kitchenaid) tube pan. i measured all the ingredient and weighted to see if it was a "true" pound cake formula but it did not turn out to be. the tree cups of sugar weighted 21.50 oz, the flour 25.35 and the eggs at 10.65 oz(eggs varies in weight). the heavy cream was a suprise ingrient (that is what caught my attention at bjs)because i always have it on hand and don't know what to do with extras. ALL IN ALL NOT A BAD RECIPE. i will make it again but cut down on the sugar. would recommend. veronica
