I love pickled shrimp and this recipe looks and sounds GREAT! I use Paula Deen's recipes a lot and find them always to be "way good". What kind of jars are these. I am a "jar person" and these are so pretty. Got to have some. Keep the good recipes coming. Love y'all. Lynn

I was just wondering how long the shrimp keep for, and do they have to remain refregerated always? How long does it keep once it is in the brine?

That was a great video! Makes me want to get in my own kitchen and start making the pickled shrimp right now! I don't have all the ingredients or else I would be.....I love seeing the 2 of you together; I have 3 brothers and they all cook very well. I also have 3 sisters that are good cooks. We always have fun in the kitchen. We've put together a Family Cookbook of our favorite recipes, most in original handwriting, so we can all keep them in the family. They are in binders so we can add to them as needed. All of us including grandchildren have these. You and your family inspire me to create more family favorites! Thank you....I enjoy watching you so very much!

I am from the South Coast and said no way to your pickled shrimp But I looked at how you fixed it and said does not sound so bad I love pickled anything so far.I will have to give this a try. I usually like my shrimp Fried or boiled no sauce or dip on it you loose the taste of the Shrimp. I will let you know how I like it. Sounds good with the Onion and okra in it too. MMMMM grin

Those jars were great. Getting ready to do some canning myself can you use those for pressure canning or hot water bath canning? Where would I find them?

Great recipe. Would have been even better if you had promoted wild caught american shrimp.

I tried your pickled shrimp, but I added boiled okra( boiled with the shrimp)and Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning. Also try red onions ,for color and sweeter taste. Thanks Paula...

Can't wait to try this recipe out. I have a few questions thought: How long will the shrimp keep? What would you serve this as appitizer or main course? and lastly where did you find those great jars? I have not seen those anywhere around here and I give a lot of canned items as gift and these jar would be wonderful. Thank you
