Hi Paula, I just watched you and Neeta make cheese scones. (Biscuits) to you. I have to say the recipe is great! You always make me laugh, If you are ever feeling down just look at your video. Within the first 2 minutes i'm off. Not that i don't like to laugh but i laugh so much i cant see the video. Paper tissue coming out. I am from Scotland and scones are big.. So is Scotch eggs you would like them, just like Southern cooking. keep up the good work Regard Aileen Ps. How can you tell a true Scotsman.. By the tilt in his kilt.

I can not get the other comments to open so this question might have been asked before. But when did she add any butter/lard/shortening to the dough?

I truly enjoyed watching you all enjoy yourselves. I count it all joy the ability to exchange laughter and love while enjoying every minute of it. It reminded me of when Big momma use to make breakfast on Saturday mornings. I miss those days! Thanks for sharing you all be blessed.

I tried this recipe before viewing the video and brushed with butter BEFORE cooking, as the recipe was written. Now I know better. The video was a great help too in seeing the consistency of the batter.

I had my picture made with Jellyroll, holding a BIG bowl of your delicious fried chicken, when I visited "The Lady and Son's" a few years ago. She is a doll! My hubby and I really enjoyed the food and the experience! We can't wait to come back for another visit!

This is an excellent step-by-step recipe but this clip does not give the oven temperature or how long to bake the biscuites. I think I would love Nita if I met her. Love the sense of humor and friendship between her and Paula.

Paula, Let me tell you girlfriend, the first time I made homemade biscuit. They were smellin great, but when I took them out of the oven it was rock solid hard.My brother came into the kitchen and say ,what are you baking and I say biscuit,he say let me taste it and I say okay. The next thing I know all of my biscuit were gone.I say wow,my brother really like those hard biscuit. The next thing I knew my brother took the biscuit outside and had a rock battle with it with his friend.( it is a game throwing rocks at each other and instead of throwing rocks ,they were throwing my biscuit....WOW!
