absolutely darling watching you cook with those boys; I can imagine you teaching Jamie and Bobby how to cook as well. You are kind and patient and helpful when need be. Clealry you are teaching them and they will remember this for the rest of their lives. As you remember cooking with your own Grandmother and Mother in the kitchen; I too have wonderful memories canning and baking and cooking with my Grandmother who taught me how to make everything from scratch. This recipe is similar to a recipe of my own we use from time to time; each family has their own version of this one. just went to the grocery store other day and picked up another one of your magazines loaded with recipes Quick and Easy Meals; I make your Hummingbird Cake every year for my birthday cake. The entire family love it. and the new Paula Deen Bible is a treasure.

This was great to watch Paula! This show inspires me to let my four little ones into the kitchen to help cook. It always seems like I am yelling at the to get out of the kitchen. Especially to my four and three year old that can't help enough until they are almost on top of you and you can't move. Thanks again for an amazing recipe I can show my kids how to do the right way!
