Tilapia Francese Recipe by Paula Deen

  • 6 oz tilapia fillet
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paula Deen House Seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons Paula Deen Lemon Dill Finishing Butter


Clean and dry fillet. Dust tilapia with Paula Deen Seasoning, place in egg wash (egg and water whisked together) and then coat in flour. Heat olive oil in skillet and sauté fish for 2-3 minutes, on each side.


Degrease pan and deglaze with white wine, reduce by 1/2 and add juice from lemon then whisk in Paula Deen Lemon Dill Butter. Serve Sauce over fish.
