Made it for my family today and everyone that tried it seemed to like it. The only problem was that the amount of ingredients used made two!

This was so easy to make. I served it at a lunch for my future daughter-in-law and everyone loved it. I followed the receipe and used the 9" glass pie pan and it turned out perfect. I plan to pass it on to others to enjoy. It can be heated up in the microwave if you happen to have any leftovers. Thank you Paula!

Hello Lorraine, It's 1 1/2 cups heavy cream . Thanks!

I made this and it was delicious. I didn't put in the full amount of bacon or cheese and still I couldn't up in all the eggs. I used a 9 inch deep dish pre made pie crust. Anyone else with this problem?

It says cream, I didnt see cream in the ingredients. how much cream?

By Lorraine on March 26, 2013

Delicious! It tastes like a dish my mom used to make, she called it turkey poulet, layered toast points, white sauce, turkey, bacon, cheese. Next time i make this quiche I will use half the bacon replace the other half with mushrooms maybe. I will scald the cream and temper it into the eggs to hopefully get the custard to set a bit earlier. It is sinfully wonderful as it is though!

I made this during a New Year's Eve (2012-2013) party at my home and it was a major hit. I was quite impressed at how easy it was to make and how delicious it was. I accidentally left this in the oven 1 hour after it should have come out (had to get dressed for my guest) and it was still good enough to eat. I do plan on making this again!! Thanks so much for this easy recipe.

Thank You so much Paula Dean, for posting this recipe! We had it all week and served at Christmas Party! Needless to say it was a hit. Everyone loved it. I actually made 4 pies after doubling recipe 'eggs and heavy cream'.
