Pina Colada Smoothie Pina Colada Smoothie

Ingredients Add to grocery list

1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 banana
1/4 cup ice cubes
2 teaspoons honey, optional
pineapple wedges, for garnish





In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks, coconut milk, banana, ice and, if desired, honey. Puree until smooth. Pour into 2 large glasses. Garnish each serving with a pineapple wedge.

Keep your chin up Paula. You need to ask food network since they announced a condition that exists to work there if they have finished asking every person associated with them if they have ever done what u did (& everybody else) & fired them immediately without using any common sense. I tried it and I had to add a lot more pinapple and ice. For my taste, it had too much banana. My mom loved it though.

I have to say I was NOT that fond of this recipe. Specifically, while there was nothing "bad" about it, it did NOT taste like a true "pina colada" flavor. In fact, I don't believe any pina colada I've ever had even contained a BANANA. I think that was the part that rather turned me off. It's more of a "tropical" smoothie than a true pina colada. As I said, nothing inherently wrong, just not the taste I was expecting.
