Thought my Chili was good until I tried yours ~~ added extra spicy Stewed Tomatoes and a few of my own tweaks here and there but the Chili turned out ""GREAT"" and I made 3 times the amount of your recipe and had no left-overs for the next day.!** Wahhhhh Next time I bet you I will have delicious leftovers as I will plan ahead from now on -- as everybody loved it.! Thank you so much and want you to know that everybody here in Tn. still loves you and yours and think the world of you and your 'Tribe'.^^ Thanks. JAG

I have made this chili about 8 times now and every time I make it, it comes out better then before. My family loves this chili and the nice thing is it freezes well.

This is the best chili I've ever made or eaten! I have made it several times and it's the ONLY recipe I use now. Letting the chili simmer for 4 hours is the key to the savory taste. This recipe is perfect as written but leaves lots of room for adding your own twist if desired. Thanks Jamie for sharing! Best Wishes, Judy

This chili is soOoooo good it will make you wanna slap ya' mama! I did tweak it a little bit and used the diced tomatoes and not the whole tomatoes, I added Seasoned Salt, California Blend Onion Powder, Pepper and my favorite...Cayenne Pepper!...I also used a chili block instead of a can of chili. This is the first time I have ever made chili and I must say I will definitely be making it again and again...Thank you, thank you!!

I'm new to cooking and nervous. Heard this was spectacular chili! Making this for the first time and I am clueless as to how much cumin and chili powder to use! Please someone at least put a recommended base measurement, you can always add more!

Made this vegetarian style and it was simply delicious! Thanks for the recipe, Jaime and Paula. @George Noble, why would you rate a recipe before trying and bring the overall rating down with the mediocre one you gave? Who does that?

I have made this chili twice and used diced tomatoes instead of stewed so there wouldn't be chuncks of tomatoes and the chili was great each time. It is a stable in my household.
