Hi Paula, I am a huge fan and since you had baseball player Albert Pujols and his wife on your show my husband is a fan also!! For the White Chocolate Cherry Chunky cookies, what butter do you use, salted or unsalted? Thank you! Janet

These are the best tasting cookies ever Paula! I saved the recipe from your magazine a couple years ago,and since then Ive subsituted pecans recently due to the Macadamia nuts being so expensive(the guys @my husband's job loved them)...but I think the cookie taste better with the Macadamia nut in the recipe. Thanks so much for sharing a part of your kitchen!

My kids (and the adults) attacked these things at thanksgiving! When I was making the batter, it seemed really thick and I thought they were going to come out dry but they were just right! Thank you so much for this website, because of your recipes, my first Thanksgiving dinner was amazing! (I actually outcooked some of the more "experienced" women in my family!)

I can only find macadamia nuts that are roasted and salted. Is this ok?

These cookies are wonderful! The dough is a little stiff and hard to mix, but it is well worth the arm workout. The cookies didn't turn out to be dry at all. My husband absolutley loved them. I also swapped out the walnuts for pecans...just my personal preference.

I had several people at work request that I make these again this year for our cookie swap. I made them last year also as part of the Christmas gifts I put together for my family. They were definitely a hit! I am having a hard time folding the cherries and white chips into the batter as well. (I leave the nuts out) I'm a little too hesitant to mess with the recipe right now, but I'll test it again with amounts the next time.
