I love this pie. I have made it several times in the past. I don't use the sugar though, I just layer the twinkies, bananas, pineapple, sometimes cherries, pudding, whipped topping, and then toasted pecans. I have also drizzed chocolate sauce/syrup over the top and it is delicious. Love it in the summer.

This was very good. I liked the complimenting flavors of the pineapple and bananas. It was too mushy for us, so we added some cookies to give it more texture. I probably won't make it again, just because I'm not the biggest banana pudding fan, but if I did, I would half the recipe. It ended up being pretty expensive for what it was-2 boxes of twinkies ($6), whipped cream ($2), pudding ($1), etc. but the ease of the recipe made up for it.

YESSSSS!!!! I made this recipe for a few couples at our church. My pastor said he'd only be able to eat half of the huge slice I gave him. Once he began eating it he said, "You know what? I'm gonna eat this whole thing. It is really good." Then a lady from my church said, "I hate twinkies, but this is amazing! I would never have known that there were twinkies in it." So what I'm trying to say is that this dessert was the BOMB!! There was no one that didn't eat a large slice, including myself. I would highly recommend this dessert.
