Toffee Brownies Toffee Brownies

54321 Based on 62 Reviews

Servings: 24 large/48 small brownies
Prep Time: 8 min
Cook Time: 25 min
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients Add to grocery list

3 (6-ounce) candy bars with almonds and toffee chips (recommended: Symphony brand)
Vegetable oil cooking spray
1 (17.6-ounce) package brownie mix with walnuts

Directions

Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions.

Line a 13 by 9-inch cake pan with aluminum foil and spray with vegetable oil cooking spray. Spoon in half of the brownie batter and smooth with a spatula or the back of a spoon. Place the candy bars side by side on top of the batter. Cover with the remaining batter.

Bake according to package directions. Let cool completely, then lift from the pan using the edges of the foil. This makes it easy to cut the brownies into squares.

I watched your show that aired on 12/13/11 in the afternoon. You made your Mom's swisssteak, a dutch oven peachcobbler with blueberries, macaroanit and cheese in a crockpot, your Aunt's potpourie in a crockpot. I would like to have the recipe for the peach cobbler in a dutch oven, please.

These are absolutely AMAZING! I don't make them often but that's because when I do, I end up eating way too much. But I definitely will be making them again soon.

Very rich but very good! I used a 12 x 8 pan, lined it with foil as directed and took my time with dividing the batter in half. Baked the brownies for about 30 minutes and they were perfect! (I used the recipe to the letter except for the pan size which was an inch less in dimension) I'm curious to see how a Cadbury caramel bar would be!

Very frustrating- Brownie mix has cut the amount in dry mix by over one oz. so it doesnt cover the chocolate. Had to run out and get a second mix!

I love your program, unfortunately, the recipes are passed very quickly and we can not score, there are some products that are not on the town and we enter the doubt that nothing can substitute for the same exit many greetings and these programs help us learn more about the kitchen I really like the way it gives your program and your character is happy and the love she has for the program as reflected in the screen is a pleasure for me to see

I am a big fan of your's to start out with! You are so fun to watch and you take the stress out of cooking and baking and make it a good time for the whole family! For Easter my son and fiance made me a "basket" with one of your loaf pans and put goodies inside it, I loved it so much that they bought me another one as part of my Mother's Day gift, they got home and my fiance accidentally dropped it on the driveway and it broke! So, they went back to town and drove all over store to store trying to find me another one, unfortunately they could not find one, everyone else loves your loaf pans too I guess! Since the stores were sold out, and it was the night before Mother's Day they used clear packing tape and taped it together... You can imagine my face when I opened my gift, got to your pan and saw it held together with tape!? They started laughing and explained the story, then we were all laughing! They said they would get me another as soon as the stores had them in stock again, so when I use those loaf pans I will always remember the effort they went to and how much I am loved! Just wanted to share that. Thank You!

Went to grocery store today and happened to think about the toffee brownie recipe. I got the brownie mix and the candy bars to make whenever. When I got home, I found out couple of my grandkids were coming over, so I made them. They were delicious and made a huge hit with my family. Thanks for passing it to us!!
