Recipe Courtesy of Paula DeenServings: 24 large/48 small brownies
Prep Time: 8 min
Cook Time: 25 min
Difficulty: Easy
3 (6-ounce) candy bars with almonds and toffee chips (recommended: Symphony brand)
Vegetable oil cooking spray
1 (17.6-ounce) package brownie mix with walnuts
Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions.
Line a 13 by 9-inch cake pan with aluminum foil and spray with vegetable oil cooking spray. Spoon in half of the brownie batter and smooth with a spatula or the back of a spoon. Place the candy bars side by side on top of the batter. Cover with the remaining batter.
Bake according to package directions. Let cool completely, then lift from the pan using the edges of the foil. This makes it easy to cut the brownies into squares.

I watched your show that aired on 12/13/11 in the afternoon. You made your Mom's swisssteak, a dutch oven peachcobbler with blueberries, macaroanit and cheese in a crockpot, your Aunt's potpourie in a crockpot. I would like to have the recipe for the peach cobbler in a dutch oven, please.

These are absolutely AMAZING! I don't make them often but that's because when I do, I end up eating way too much. But I definitely will be making them again soon.

Very rich but very good! I used a 12 x 8 pan, lined it with foil as directed and took my time with dividing the batter in half. Baked the brownies for about 30 minutes and they were perfect! (I used the recipe to the letter except for the pan size which was an inch less in dimension) I'm curious to see how a Cadbury caramel bar would be!

Very frustrating- Brownie mix has cut the amount in dry mix by over one oz. so it doesnt cover the chocolate. Had to run out and get a second mix!
