This is one of the best barbecues I have ever had. My husband and I just could not stop talking about it. We like our barbecue with sauce, but this can stand alone and I would still be happy. You have to try it. So easy.

My husband is in the Navy and we were stationed in GA and went to the Lady and Son's every chance we got when we visited Savannah. We now live in Guam and there are days when I miss the food so badly. I made this bbq for my husband and it tasted just like what we got at the Lady and Son's. Its is perfect when you are home sick and want a little southern food.

Tried it and it is absolutely amazing!! My Family devoured this butt roast. Forget about adding any sauces, the flavor of the meat from this recipe alone makes a wonderful Bar BQ sandwich!! I dare you to find a better bar BQ sandwich than this! Best thing: I found the Boston Butts on special for 79 cents per pound...Cheap and Delicious!!

I had never cooked a Boston Butt Roast before and now I am a huge fan. This recipe is great....it is so tender & it just falls right off the bone

Thank you Paula! My husband is very particular about smoked meat, however he really enjoyed this roast even without the BBQ sauce. It was tender, juicy and not overly smokey.
