6 cups thinly sliced red cabbage
1/2 cup matchstick-cut red apple
1/2 cup matchstick-cut green apple
1/3 cup roasted, salted pumpkin seeds
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1/3 cup jalapeno pepper jelly
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
Pinch pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, apples, pumpkin seeds, and cilantro. In a small bowl, combine the jelly, vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, and cumin, stirring until smooth. Pour over the cabbage mixture; toss gently to coat. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.

It would be great if when you search for a specific recipe you have the option of seeing the entire menu that was featured with the recipe. I remember watching this show with the sweet and spicy slaw but I can't remember what the rest of the menu was.....just an idea. Thanks and keep on cooking!

Paula, The sweet and spicy slaw is fabulous; I watched you and your son put it together on TV. I too, use the pepper jelly on and in the cream cheese for a nice spread. I made a batch of pepper jelly over the summer, and now I know how I will use it up. Thanks for your warmth, creativity and "outstanding" recipes. This one gets 5 stars!!
