Paula’s version of candied nuts are sweet but with a bite!

Servings: 4-6 Servings
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 25 min
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients Add to grocery list

1 large egg white
1 cup cashews, unsalted
1/2 cup pecan halves, unsalted
1/2 cup almonds, whole and unsalted
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon Paula Deen Collection Southern Spice Rub
1/2 teaspoon Paula Deen Collection Paprika Spice Blend
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside. In a large bowl whisk one egg until foamy. Stir in the nuts until well coated (any combination of nuts will work). Stir in sugar and Paula Deen spices and rosemary; toss with nuts until coated. Pour nut mixture out onto the foil lined baking sheet, making sure to spread out in an even layer. Bake, stirring often, until golden—about 20-25 minutes . Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

I was purchased Paula Deen Paprika by my significant other to cook with. Unfortunately, we noticed that the product was packaged and prbably make(we did not know for sure) in China. Knowing the problems with what goes into products made in China, and quality in general, we threw it out. We believe a product with Paula Deen's name on it should be made in America. My pans are Alclad made in America, and whatever we purchase we try to be Americans.
