I make this every year for Christmas as my mama did for us when I was growing up. This recipe has been around my family for at least 40 years. We pour 1/3 of the batter in and then 1/2 the cinnamon mixture. Pour another 1/3 of the batter and then the last of the cinnamon and then top with the rest of the batter. Then we run a knife through the batter to once or twice around to swirl the cinnamon. Mmmmm... We never have any leftovers!

Made this cake over the weekend. Quite easy to make, made NO changes. I thought it can out a bit dry. The taste was good, but won't make again.

I made this cake today and it was outstanding! I did add a little more cinnamon. I also melted a stick of butter using 1/2 in the batter and the other 1/2 mixed with the pecans, cinnamon, and sugar. Absolutely out of this world delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Made this the other day and it was a big hit. Bought some fresh cinnamon from the Indian Market and put that in my spice coffee grinder - used only for spices. The cinnamon was so fabulous in this cake. Simple too. Did add some extra fresh cinnamon in the spice cake mix. Will do again.

Hey Patsy! This cake would work well in individual bundt pans. As the size of bundt pans vary, I can't say how many it will make with your pan size. I would guess 4-6. Cooking time will decrease of course. Same temp., but check after 30 minutes. Libbie Summers, Paula Deen Food Editor

I love this and want to make it in small bunt pans. How many pans would I use and should I cook them the same amount of time. Thanks, Patsy ps_hoard@mac.com

I made this cake for my family and they absolutely LOVED it! I thought I'd be able to have a second piece but they devoured it. I followed the recipe but instead of pecans I used walnuts and I added some sweetened apple pie filling over the the top of the cake.
