My Grandmother made Tea Cakes and she always used a little bacon drippings. They were so good! I sure miss her.

Dear Mrs. Paula I am originally from Louisiana (born and bread) and growing up I remember my auntie Beatrice's tea cakes. We moved to California when I was 15 years old and I am now 50 years old. My auntie passed away not leaving the recipe for her tea cakes and i have been looking for this recipe for years. I though that i might find it on your web sight and now that I have I'm hoping it is the one she used to make. I'll let you know how it went as soon as I cook up a batch and test them out on my other 12 brothers and sisers. P.S. Love your show. It takes me back home. Mrs. Lonnie

Hi Carmen, Here we have a brand called Ritz. But really, any sweet cracker you can find in your local grocery store should work just fine.
