Used more pork sauage then called for, added sone little extras like; garlic, jalepenjos, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg & wrapped the while loaf in basket weaved style bacon. Used AJs sweet yellow onion (grocerier said was 50 % sweeter than vidalia onion). Bbq tasting, cinnamon perfectly moist yummy! Got the Paula Dean Smokey Cinnamon sauce at AJs in Arizona. My son is eager to make your Smokey apple cinnamon meatloaf however I can't seem to find your sauce anywhere including this site as well as the foodnetwork Could you let me know how to obtain a jar? It would be greatly appreciated. If it is available in stores I live in Parlin, NJ which is central NJ. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me Kathy

I was watching your show the other day and you were making this meatloaf. It sounds delicious. Since my husband went elk hunting last fall and we have ground elk meat in the freezer, my plans are to give the elk meat a try. Hope it turns out a good as it looks and sounds. If can't find sauce, may try apple butter instead.

delicious! if you don't want to pay the insane amount for the Paula Deen apple cinnamon sauce just use apple jelly and add your own cinnamon and brown sugar. I made my own and crumbled the bacon into the sauce to mix with the meats.I also used sweet pork sausage instead of plain ground pork for a little more zing!

I loved this recipe. I didn't have the sauce so I used Kraft Original BBQ sauce and mixed in cinnamon in the meat. Everyone loved it. Will definately make again.

Hey Joyce! I found the sauce at Winn Dixie. I don't know if you have a Winn Dixie but check there. If you don't have a Winn Dixie, try your local grocery store. The first time i tried the meatloaf, I ordered the sauce online it but I recently bought the sauce from my grocery store. Good luck!

I made this last night and it was my first Paula recipe. Let me tell you this was the best meatloaf I have had. I will admit I didn't have her applesauce so I just added some liquid smoke and Worcestershire to some cinnamon applesauce and it came out terrific. I see this being a frequent thing I make.

This is the most delicious meatloaf in the world! Well worth the shipping cost to have the sauce mailed to you! This is the only way we will fix meatloaf in our home. After tasting this, nothing will ever be as good to us. This is a definite keeper, a 10+++++! Even our boys love it - which is really saying something! They are very picky eaters! This is savory cooking at its best! It has such a wonderful, smoky, comforting taste - perfect any time of year! Thank you, Paula, for sharing such a wonderful recipe with us and for making this Smoky Apple Cinnamon Sauce available for us to purchase. We'll be buying it every month - guaranteed!
