Well, I wanted to see some reviews on this recipe. Instead I see fan mail mostly listed. I think if one wanted to admire Paula and give her compliments they should go to her blog or twitter. The reader comments under recipes should be comment about the RECIPE....just sayin.....

Your health is your business. Just because you bake a cake does not mean you plan to eat the whole thing. People need to worry about their own eating habits and induldge as each person sees fit. MODERATION IS THE KEY.

I came from a family that loved to cook. My mother was a great cook and my grandmother was a culinary artist who cooked for the staff at UC Berkeley way back when. Like you, at 18, I was not interested in boiling water, but getting married and partying. I guess for some of us, getting serious comes later. I love your show, will not look at any other cook show except for yours. Your receipe for pecan toffee candy was on the mark. Your receipe for red beans and rice is to die for. Thank goodness though, I did pay some attention to my mother's preparing of food so that I don't have to start from the beginning. I would love to go on the next cruise next year if I could get some information now so that I could save up for this. Your sense of humor is what one needs. Take care of yourself. Hope to see in person on your next cruise. Love, Artie

The sauce was delicious! I am starting to think the Low seating on my slow cooker is too hot as the 6 hours, produced a slightly dry pork spare rib. But just slightly dry... I used a St.Louis Pork rib cut. Overall, it was fabulous! I basted the ribs throughout the time and stirred them around and from top to bottom.
