Ingredients Add to grocery list

6   large pears (about 2-1/2 pounds) peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1/4 cup warm water
1   lemon, juiced
2 cup rolled oats
2 cup all-purpose flour
2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 ¼ cups (2 ½ sticks) melted butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine pears, water and lemon juice in an 8 by 8-inch baking pan. In a bowl, combine oats, flour, sugar and cinnamon. Pour in the melted butter and stir to make a crumbly mixture. Spread the topping evenly over the fruit. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until the topping is crisp and browned.

this is delish but took the suggestion of some of the other reviews and cut the topping ingredients in half and it turned out perfect.
