I AM A BIG FAN OF PAULA DEEN'S AND I WATCH HER SHOWS EVERYDAY. AND I HAVE MADE A WHOLE LOT OF RECEIPES FROM , HER COOK BOOK. BUT I AM ASKING IF SHE HAS ANY KIDS MENU. BECAUSE MY DAUGHTER DOESN'T LIKE PEANUT BUTTER, OR SOMETIMES CHOCOLATE.

I tried this yesterday and it did not turn out well at all. No flavor and only rose about 1/4 of an inch. It looked so good coming out of the oven and then it dropped. I rechecked my ingredients but I added everything,(all real ingredients) so I know I did not leave anything out. Used gas stove and springform pan as instructed. ???what could have happened.

I am making this cheesecake tonight for my husband's birthday - I can't wait!! So just to be clear...I need to use THREE bricks of cream cheese, but leave all other proportions the same? Thanks!!

I could have swore that the show in which i watched Paula make the cheesecake with the steaks cooked in the cast iron skillet, she used sour cream in the recipe. Did i just have a brain freeze or what? Was there sour cream included in the recipe? By the way, it was excellent without sour cream but I just want to know. Thanx

What do you mean by cover with a cookie sheet? Do you mean just place it I top without touching the filling or what ?

LOVE THIS!! My husband is VERY picky about his cheesecakes, and he absolutely LOVED this one. I did however use 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crust(I have a larger pan) and 3 blocks of cream cheese instead of 12oz. It turned out wonderful. I'll definitely be putting this recipe in the keep box. Thanks Paula!

Paula, I watch your show every afternoon.I love the way you explain everything. My mother and aunts taught me to cook the old fashion Texas way and I love it, but I have learned alot watching your show. You are so graceful and loving with everyone on the show. Thanks Paula.

Dear Paula, About 50 years ago, my Dad, who worked for a milk producer (ie: similar to one of the larger companies like Sealtest) on the dock where the milk delivery trucks were checked out and then back in at the end of the day, knew a lady who made this absolutely delicious pineapple cheese cake around Christmas time every year. I have never seen one like it since. I think it might have been made with cottage cheese rather than cream cheese since the milk company made thier own butter, ice cream, cottage cheese, buttermilk, etc., but I never saw any cream cheese. So, I wonder if you have this "pineapple" cheesecake recipe anywhere. It had the appearance of cottage cheese and not a smooth texture like the ones we see so much today. I really hope you can help me with this. I am a "bff" (best forever fan, and wish we could be friends too.) Love & Prayers, Dolly David
