My husband LOVES, LOVES, LOVES this buttermilk pie!! I've had to cut down on the sugar a bit (was a little sweet for our taste)... this has been a big hit with everyone!! Has a little custardy consistency that everyone loves!! Thanks for the recipe ![]()

I prepared the buttermilk pie for desert with fresh whipped cream with a hint of Cointreau and fresh strawberries and blueberries that had refrigerated overnight with sugar and vanilla. It was a big hit. This pie is so easy and so good.

I was asked by my son-in-law to make a Buttermilk Pie for Thanksgiving. It is his favorite and I had never made one. I used this recipe and was given a rave review from everyone who ate it. I also tasted it and thought it was wonderful. I did add 1/4 tsp of nutmeg but I think it is a great pie either way. Thank you Paula for another excellent recipe.

This is THE BEST buttermilk pie I have ever had. It's easy & no crust to worry about. I'm usually the baker in the family, but my husband has been making these. - Elizabeth
