Paula, I love you and your cooking shows. I love to eat at your restaruant when I can. At one time you were a little nobody like your fans. Now all of a sudden your known all over the US and maybe the world and people can't even take a picture of you and your sons at a book signing?? You will have a professional photographer there to take pictures and charge an arm and a leg for one! Remember where you were at one time and who made you who you are. Do you really need the money to charge for pictures? Are you going to charge for the book signing also? Money isn't everything. Be thankful for your fans, and my goodness if they want a picture, let them take it with their own camera's.

I actually have a question for you. My mother passed away a few years ago and she never used recipes. Before she passed away she got dementia and I never got to get any recipes from her. My favorite was chocolate pie with meringue. I once asked how she made it and she said I make it the same way I make homemade banana pudding, but I add cocoa. I can only cook desserts using exact recipes. Do you have a recipe for this that would be like hers? I have collected recipes for at least 35 years including all of your books and your families. I have not seen this exact recipe. I think she made it up.

I'm so proud of you and you can tell your pounds are falling off. I'm in the same boat you are in and I know how hard it is to lose weight. I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes 3 years ago. I've lost 40lbs and I'm stuck there. Good Luck

Paula, I heard the bad mouthing you about your food and desserts. I just want you to know I love you and all your recipes. I don't care what they say I will always stand by your side to defend you. People need to understand that we eat a lot different from the people anywhere else. Our recipes are rich with flavoring and spices. If we didn't our recipes would not taste the same which we are known for our recipes. We all need to watch our weight and get fit. But they are all blowing it out of propotion. Thank you for being you. I love your recipes and love you as a person. You can cheer up anyone when they are feeling down by watching your show. Thank you, Paula!
