Instead of using hot chocolate mix could we replace it with chocolate syrup? If so, how much?

Hi Alexis, You should be able to find Heavy Cream in the dairy aisle of your local grocery store. In most cases, heavy whipping and heavy cream can be used interchangeably.

Love this recipe! I blend mine with skim milk and it tastes great! I use 1/2 and 1/2 for my son and he loves it. It is also great hot--just warm your milk or 1/2 and 1/2 and of course do not put coffee/chocolate mixture in the freezer.

My whole family loves this recipe!! It rivals starbucks or McDonald's Frappes! I added about 6 ice cubes and a splash of milk to make it a little more fluid but other than that, its amazing!!!
