4 slices bacon
1 (10-ounce) package frozen peas, thawed and drained
1 cup shredded Cheddar
2 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and chopped
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Let cool.
In a medium serving bowl, combine the bacon, peas, cheese, and eggs. Stir in the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and salt and pepper, to taste. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

I made this salad after seeing it on your show. It is a real good summer salad. I added more mayonnaise and a little sugar to the recipe though. My wife took it to work and they all loved it as well.

I am going to try your English pea salad. I made a fresh peach cobbler from you receipt yesterday and it is delicious. My husband id a diabetic so I used splenda instead of sugar and it worked just fine.

I alway add sweer pickle relish and pimento so my pea salad. sometimes Iuse canned peas --well drained. Love you and all your shows. The magazine is my FAVORITE!

This is my husbands favorite! He loved it. I didn't use the sliced bacon I bought the real bacon bits by Hormel. They worked out great and saved time. Thanks Paula another 5 STAR LOVE YA

I give this recipe a 3 star. It was pretty good, but the bacon was a little to crunchy for me in the salad. I will probably not make this again. But, I'm glad I tried it, because it looked so good on the show.
