Easy Italian Dressing

Servings: Makes 1/2 cup dressing

Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients Add to grocery list

6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried basil
pinch of dried oregano
2 garlic cloves minced
salt and pepper to taste


In a small mixing bowl, whisk together vinegar, parsley, lemon juice, basil, oregano and garlic. Add olive oil in a steady stream while whisking. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately over fresh greens.

Excellent flavors! No more store bought for us!

like this zesty dressing. it was so easy. I had to used dried parsley since the last cold snap burned my parsley. I added a few drops of my daughters home made honey and it is so good. I did added a little extra olive oil to make it go a little further. the little I had left over, I mixed with spoonful Greek yogurt and made a tasty sandwich spread for left over roasted chicken.
