1 jar maraschino cherries
6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
1 cup finely chopped pecans
Drain the cherries and pat them completely dry.
Put the semisweet chocolate into a heatproof medium bowl. Put the bowl over a pot of simmering water. Do not let the bowl touch the water. Turn off the heat and stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Remove the bowl from the heat. Line a sheet pan with parchment or waxed paper.
Holding the cherry by the stem, dip the bottom half of each cherry in the melted chocolate. Twist the cherry so that the chocolate forms a “tail” at the end. Set the cherry on the parchment paper.
Repeat with the remaining cherries. Sprinkle with finely chopped pecans. Allow to cool or eat them right away.

You are a very nice person. You are like my grandma meek, she would cook good foods and lots sweet thing's too.She also was a very sweet preson.She always has good things to say about another person. she never had a bad thing to say about a nother person. My grandma was wounderful person to know. She has tot us alot of thing's in my childhood. I will always think of her as a great cook and sweet things she made for us to enjoy. thank you, laura day

was looking for a recipe for chocolate dipped strawberries & think I could use this recipe using strawberries in place of cherries (also sounds good) for Mother's Day. no matter what I make if it's not chocolate she will be asking me where's the chocolate or do you have any chocolate?
