Recipe Courtesy of Paula DeenServings: 10 appetizer servings
Prep Time: 1 hour 10 min
Cook Time: 6 min
Difficulty: Easy
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Pinch pepper
Pinch salt
1 pound chicken tenders, cut in half
1 bunch green onions
Special equipment: 10 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Spray a grill rack with nonstick, nonflammable cooking spray. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, teriyaki sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, and salt. Add the chicken. Seal the bag and chill for 1 hour.
Drain the chicken, discarding the marinade. Thread the chicken onto the skewers. Arrange the skewers on the grill, and grill until the chicken is done, about 3 minutes on each side. Grill the green onions until browned, about 1 minute on each side. Arrange the green onions on a serving platter. Top with the chicken. Serve immediately.

Hey There, I also first seen this recipe in the People Magazine. I made this, along with the vegetable salad recipe. Fabulous! I always have requests for these chicken kabobs from the neighbors and the husband. They all say it was the best flavor ever! They are so moist you never have to dip them in anything! Thanks so much!

I haven't tried this recipe yet (actually saw it first in "People Magazine") but would like to know the Nutrional Values, but more importantly, the sodium, sugar, carbs, calories etc. I have noticed that none of your recipes contain this pertinent information. I am anxious to try it but need the important info. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Does anyone have a sauce they can dip the chicken kabobs in? I'm making them tonight. No pressure. Thanks Lisa

I made these for family and friends as party of a Saturday night grilling extravaganza. These chicken kabobs got rave reviews. They were everyone's favorite -- even better than the ribeyes!
