Ingredients Add to grocery list

1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 quart cherry tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon brown sugar
3 tablespoon butter

Directions

In a heavy skillet, melt butter, sugar and salt.  Stir in tomatoes.  Tomato skins will begin to split.  At this point, add cream and stir.  This recipe can be easily doubled to serve a crowd.

I'm watching GAC and just saw Paula Deen talking about chicken and dumplings and I thought she said "creamed tomatoes". I was also thinking that she was getting ready to come on but must have been an advertisement. Anyway, the "picture" of these creamed tomatoes looked really good and when I tried to find the recipe I couldn't. What did come up was tomatoes and cream but this is not what I saw. Can you help me find the recipe for what I think is creamed tomatoes? It looked like it may be a cold dish. Thank you!
