I am a great fan of sweet tea and have been trying recipes for a few months now. I came across your recipe the other day and tried it. As I wanted it close to the McDonald's sweet tea that I'm addicted to I knew it had to have a hint of orange in it so after making the simple syrup I added a couple of drops of orange oil used in candy making. It was so.......sweet tea!!!! I'm now hooked. I brew 7 regular tea bags in a 12 cup automatic coffee maker and then start a small saucepan of 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar, simmering it till it coats the back of the spoon. After the pot of tea is brewed I add 2 more teabags and brew another 12 cups reusing the first 7 teabags...then add the simple syrup mixture. Cool and drink over ice while watching your show on TV. Thanks so much!!!!

I was watching your show one day and took down the recp. for buttery nut fingers (I thought). I mixed it up 2 1/2 C flour, 3/4 c c ream cheese. 2 sticks butter 2 T. vanilla flavoring, and chopped pecans. I mixed it ALL together and it was so dry. I looked on your web site for the recp. and found that I was not supposed to add the powdered sugar till the last. Apparently I forgot some of the show. Can I make something with the concoction that I have mixed up, HELP!!!! Thanks You, Tina
