Brandied Steakside Mushrooms

Ingredients Add to grocery list

3 pounds fresh mushrooms, sliced lengthwise
8 tablespoons butter
Paula Deen Silly Salt
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup brandy

Directions

In a large skillet, saute the sliced mushrooms in the butter until brown. Sprinkle liberally with seasoning salt. Add Worcestershire sauce and simmer until almost all sauce is absorbed by the mushrooms. Add the brandy and continue to simmer until mushrooms are tender.

Serve with steak or roast beef.

I have made these several times. WIth Paula's recipe for Bourbon Tenderloin and with other steaks. They are the best!

We went to the casinos in Mississippi and we ate at Paula's restaurant, well my husband ate mushrooms and onions, and that is all he can talk about, can you tell me what it is called and how its made? Thanks

Saw Paula make this on tv several years ago and I have been making it ever since. It is absolutely wonderful! My family loves it so much that it has become a part of our traditional Christmas beef tenderloin dinner.
