Baked Trout with Romano Cheese

Ingredients Add to grocery list

1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
4   (8-ounce) trout fillets
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
1/2 cup grated Romano
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup olive oil

Directions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Combine the bread crumbs, garlic powder, cheese, and parsley in a medium non-reactive bowl. Rub each fillet with lemon juice, and then dredge each fillet in the crumb mixture to evenly coat. Place fillets on a baking pan lined with waxed or parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets. Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until fish fillets are cooked through.

While spending spare time camping, fishing and cooking over a fire I rarely watch t.v. I also enjoy Country Music on GAC To my surprise 2 weeks ago I happen to "catch" Paula fishing with her Aunt! It really caught my attention. Paula I love the show and I tried my first Paula Deen recipe! I so loved it! In fact I bought your Family recipe cook book at the grocery store the following week! I then made Bobby's Baked Chicken with lime. Love that too! Well Let just say I am now "HOOKED"....Thank you!

~ This is a great recipe! I have used this recipe on several types of fish such as Crappie, Bass, and Catfish! Comes out great and so tasty each time. I did alter the recipe a bit, I decreased the parsley to 1/4 cup also decreased the garlic to 1 tsp basically because I always top this recipe with ettoufe..The fish comes out so crispy it is simply sublime! Thanks doll for teaching me to cook! lol ~
