Baked Potato with Ring Tum Ditty Baked Potato with Ring Tum Ditty

Servings: 4 to 6 servings
Prep Time: 30 to 45 minutes to bake potatoes and prepare ingredients
Cook Time: 15 min
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients Add to grocery list

3 cup (3/4 pound) grated extra sharp Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper
Dried thyme
1   16-ounce can whole kernel corn
2   16-ounce cans whole tomatoes, juice reserved
2 cup chopped onions
12 ounce bacon, chopped
4-6   baking potatoes, baked
butter, to garnish potatoes


Saute the bacon and onions in a heavy pot until the bacon is crisp and the onion is translucent.  Drain off the fat.  Drain the tomato juice into the pot; squish the tomatoes through your fingers into the pot.  Add the corn, and thyme, salt, and pepper to taste, and simmer the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes or until desired thickness.  Add the cheese and stir until melted.  Spoon the Ring Tum Ditty over the halved potatoes with butter and wait for the complements.

Dear Paula I just want to let you know how very much I love your show and no one can bake the way you can and I love all of your deserts. I hope someday you will do a show in Beaumont Texas. The most precious monents watching your show was when you had the episode of when you first started your show, the beginning is always the test but God graced you to pass and I pray that the Lord continue to bless your business and your family.
